Welcome to Online Event #9: $1,000 PLO Championship here at the 2023 World Series of Poker on WSOP.com. This the ninth event of the Online series and will be sure to attract some of the biggest and best PLO players in the world.

This is a new format added to the WSOP Online schedule and last year it was Matt "PmpknHead" Szymaszek who won the 6-max version of this tournament for $141,705. Szymaszek, who has close to $500,000 in tournament earnings, will look to continue his run good in hopes of another gold bracelet here.

Players will begin with 20,000 chips with blinds starting at 25/50 and increasing every 15 minutes. Five-minute breaks will occur at 55 minutes past the hour each hour and players will have the opportunity to re-enter up to three times during the late registration period, which lasts four hours.

The PokerNews team will be tuned in to provide live updates from start to finish of this tournament, as well as all the other events at the 2023 WSOP at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
