The middle-position player folded, but Hawkins committed his last 28,000 and turned over 10?2? for trip tens. Madsen, though, had A?10? and was ahead with his ace-kicker.
"Queen, eight, or a deuce," Hawkins pleaded, but the dealer instead turned over the 3? on the river to send Hawkins to the rail.
"Looked like a deuce," a tablemate said as Hawkins made his exit.
