Wolff Calls Down Johnson; Harrington Talks Shop About His Books
George Wolff and Marco Johnson built a pot of around 15,000 as they went heads-up to the A?J?4? flop. Johnson then bet 5,500 from middle position and Wolff called under the gun.
Both players checked the 10? turn and the 7? fell on the river. Wolff checked again and Johnson bet 12,500.
Wolff quickly called with Q?Q? for a flush and Johnson mucked.
While this hand was taking place, tablemate Daniel Fuhs was talking to Dan Harrington about his now-legendary poker books. "The Moneymaker thing must've been a boon," Fuhs said.
"It sold over a million copies," Harrington replied.
"What was your book about?" another tablemate joked.
"Zen Buddhism," Harrington added. "Someone said I should have three chapters on how to play aces. I was like, if I had aces I wouldn't need a book."
