Day 2 of Event $11: $1,500 Badugi Begins at 1 PM
With a total of 487 players making a prize pool of $650,145, Day 2 of Event #11: $1,500 Badugi sees the second day of play begin at 1 p.m. in the Horseshoe, Las Vegas. The 139 surviving players will see the top 74 secure a minimum of $3,000, with all eyes on the first place prize of $129,676.
Leading the way is Arkansas native Joseph Wagganer, sitting with 268,500. With $110,016 in lifetime cashes and several WSOP cashes in mixed triple draw events, Wagganer is no stranger to deep runs in draw games at the WSOP. He looks to use his massive stack to secure his first bracelet. The podium is rounded out by Oscar Johansson (218,000) and Mark Roland (217,500).

Not skipping a beat after taking home his second bracelet is Nick Guagenti (153,000). After playing what was a lengthy heads up battle in the $1,500 Limit Hold��em event, he hopped into this event in the last minutes of registration in hopes of securing a third bracelet. Other notables that survived include Jerry Wong (191,000), Frank Kassela (175,000), Alex Livingston (148,000), Dan Zack, (120,000), and Michael Moncek (117,500).
Players will return to sixty-minute levels beginning at Level 16, coming back to blinds of 2,000-4,000, and limits at 4,000-8,000, with a 15-minute break occurring after every two levels. Players will go on an hour-long dinner break at the conclusion of Level 21, after which the field will play another four levels before bagging up for the night.
