Julien Martini called the bring-in, getting Brian Brunner and Dan Shak to come along as well. Mike Matusow then completed, and all three players stuck in calls.
Matusow bet again on fourth street, and only Brunner laid down his hand. On fifth street, Shak paired his eight and took the betting lead. Matusow then raised before Martini committed his final 4,900 chips. Shak three-bet, causing Matusow to fold his hand for the extra bet.
Shak's full house had Martini's two pair drawing slim. The latter failed to fill up with his two remaining cards and he sought the exit disillusioned.
