Can't Decide Between NLHE and PLO? Play Both in the $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha Event
Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2024 World Series of Poker and home of live updates from all bracelet events.
Today sees the kickoff for Event #30: $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha (8-Handed) here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. The event starts at 10 a.m. local time with 30-minute levels. There will be a 20-minute break every four levels and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 16 (about 7:00 p.m. local time).
Starting stacks are 30,000 and players may reenter twice, provided they do so before the end of late registration at completion of Level 12 (approximately 5 p.m. local time).
Day 1 is set to end after Level 22 and Day 2 will resume at 11 a.m. on July 12 with 30-minute blind levels. Day 2 will be the final day, with play continuing until a winner is declared.
Last year's edition of this event went to Scott Dulaney, who beat out a field of 2,758 entries to win his first bracelet and $194,155 of the $1,406,580 prize pool.
��I��m really excited, kinda reeling at the moment,�� Dulaney said afterward. ��But I knew it was gonna happen and I plan on winning multiple Omaha bracelets this week, this year. I think all the best Omaha players in the world come from Houston and I��m trying to prove it this summer.��
