Richards Has Chips Moving in the Right Direction
Jessica Richards came out of Day 1 with a modest stack of 119,000 chips or just 12 big blinds, but has managed to run it up nicely in the early hours of Day 2.
She hit a bump on the road when she lost a pot of around 300,000 chips to Rainer Kempe, who made a full house with 8?8? on 10?6?10?Q?8?. Kempe bet the river for 100,000 in position and Richards called to be shown the bad news.
Nevertheless, Richards was able to chip up the very next hand at the expense of Kevin Andriamahefa. Richards opened from early position, and action folded to Andriamahefa in the small blind. Andramiahefa only had 66,000 chips and he moved all in. Richards called.
Kevin Andriamahefa: A?6?
Jessica Richards: K?K?
The board was J?3?10?7?7? and Andriamahefa was eliminated.
