Day 2 of Event #36: $800 No-Limit Hold'em DeepStack Kicks Off at 11 AM
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #26: $800 No-Limit Hold'em DeepStack here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. A total of 4,278 players joined the action on Day 1 and only 259 remain to battle it out in Day 2.
The remaining players have locked up a cash of at least $2,203, but will all have their eyes set on the top prize. A total prize pool of $3,011,712 was collected with the winner taking home $342,551 and the prestigious gold bracelet.
After the dust settled on Day 1, it was $25k Fantasy and WSOP gold bracelet winner Joseph Couden, who bagged the chip lead (3,280,000) and Gj Hu was in close second with 3,000,000 chips. Martin Zamani sits third in chips entering the day, after scoring a huge pot in the last level of Day 1 yesterday.

Some other notable players that will be looking to take home not only the prize money, but also collect $25K fantasy points, are two time bracelet winners Chris Brewer (1,505,000) and Ari Engel (995,000). Players will return at 11 a.m. local time with the blinds at 15,000/30,000 and a big blind ante of 30,000. The levels will continue to be 30 minutes in length and there will be a 15-minute break every four levels. Day 2 will see play continue until a winner is crowned.
