With?300 entries?on Day 1, the prize pool currently stands at?$2,790,000. This figure is expected to grow, as late registration is open until the end of the second level of Day 2, which kicks off at 1 p.m. local time on Friday, June 14.
Some of the biggest names in poker were in the field today, hoping to bag a big stack to bring into tomorrow. However, Hong Kong's Wing Po Liu?managed to top the counts with 583,000 chips.?
Finishing second on the leaderboard was Dylan Weisman with 447,000 chips. Weisman dropped below the starting stack in the early levels of play, but after that minor blip in the early levels, he seemed to soar up the chip counts and never look back.
