Lichtenberger Triples Up; Bonomo Takes the Side Pot in Three-Way All-In
Justin Bonomo opened the cutoff to 240,000 and Andrew Lichtenberger shoved all in from the small blind for 2,340,000. Viktor Blom then shoved all in from the big blind before Bonomo committed his stack of 3,540,000 to the pot.
Andrew Lichtenberger: K?J?
Justin Bonomo: A?A?
Viktor Blom: A?Q?
Blom had both of his opponents covered and would take a huge chip lead plus burst the bubble if he could find a way to win the hand.
However, it was Lichtenberger who was catapulted into the lead as the J?K?9? flop gave him two pair. Blom picked up a Broadway draw and Bonomo still had outs to win the hand.
The K? turn gave Lichtenberger a full house which further increased his lead. Only an ace on the river would prevent Lichtenberger from scooping the main pot but the 3? was a brick which meant he tripled up, and Bonomo took the side pot from Blom.
