Blom and Kornuth Seek Redemption in Day 3 of Event #47: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em
The 2024 World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas continues today and all eyes will be on Event #47: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em as a handful of the best players in the world compete for the top prize of $2,838,389.
Out in front is Sweden's Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, who seldom shows up on the live tournament felt but is widely recognized as one of the greatest online players of all time. Blom looks to best a third-place finish in the $50,000 High Roller that earned him $951,727.
The runner-up of that event, Chance Kornuth, is also in contention as the Chip Leader Coaching founder seeks his third bracelet and second seven-figure score of the summer.
Meanwhile, longtime high-stakes pro Chris Hunichen will seek his first bracelet as future Poker Hall of Famer Jeremy Ausmus goes for number six and rising pros Justin Saliba and Aleksejs Ponakovs both go for number three.
