Day 1b of Millionaire Maker Starts at 10 AM

Today sees the start of Day 1b of Event #54: $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

This five-day event gets underway at 10 a.m. local time with the second of three starting flights. Late registration is open for eight levels (until ~8:15 p.m.). There will be a 20-minute break every two levels with a longer 75-minute dinner break after Level 8 (around 7 p.m.). Players are allowed one reentry per flight and may reenter on Day 1c if they fail to bag today.

The starting stack is 25,000 chips and the plan for each of the Day 1's is to play 11 60-minute levels.

After Day 1a, Ori Elul of Austria is the chip leader of 596 survivors. Many more will join them after today's action. For the surviving players, Day 2 resumes at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 24, and closes after another ten levels of play.

Last year��s event saw 10,429 entries, generating a prize pool of $13,905,360. The winner was Moldova's Pavel Plesuv, who defeated Florian Ribouchon heads up to win $1,201,564 and his first WSOP bracelet.
