Today sees the start of Day 1c of Event #54: $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. This is the final Day 1 flight of this five-day event.

Play starts at 10 a.m. local time, with late registration available until the end of Level 8 (until ~8:15 p.m.). A 20-minute break is scheduled after every two levels and a 75-minute dinner break will occur after Level 8. Play will continue for 11 blind levels of 60 minutes each.

Players are allowed one reentry per flight. Today will be their last chance to get their starting stack of 25,000 chips.

So far the event has 6,523 entries and a prize pool of $8,708,205. These numbers will grow significantly with today's action.

After Day 1b, Ye Yuan is the chip leader with a stack of 875,000. He leads a Day 2 field of 1,429 survivors. For Yuan and the rest of the surviving players, Day 2 resumes at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 24, and closes after another ten levels of play.

Last year’s event saw 10,429 entries, generating a prize pool of $13,905,360. The winner was Moldova's Pavel Plesuv, who defeated Florian Ribouchon heads up to win $1,201,564 and his first WSOP bracelet.
