Day 2 Sees 2,381 Millionaire-Hopefuls Remaining in Field
Players hoping to become the next big-money winner are set to return for Day 2 of Event #54: $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em at the 2024 World Series of Poker.
A total of 10,939 players entered the event over the course of three days of opening flights, but only 2,381 participants emerged to advance. The total prize pool and payouts will be posted when released, which should be fairly early today.
Day 1b chip leader Ye Yuan currently has the overall chip lead with 875,000, while Day 1a leader Ori Elul is second with 673,500. Chris Dilts, the Day 1c leader, is in seventh position with 462,750.

While Yuan, Elul and Dilts led their respective starting flights, the trio will need to hold off multiple surviving WSOP bracelet winners on the path to Day 3 and beyond.
The advancing field includes a quartet of past Main Event champions in Hossein Ensan (315,000), Jamie Gold (134,000), Joe Cada (99,500) and Ryan Riess (30,000).
The returning group also boasts multiple notable $25K Fantasy players, including Landon Tice (308,500), Brian Yoon (231,000), Ren Lin (149,500), Maria Ho (140,500), Ryan Leng (136,000) and Alex Foxen (55,000), among others.
Day 2 kicks off at 11 a.m. local time, with blinds resuming in Level 12 at 1,000/2,500 and a 2,500 big blind ante.
The remaining participants are scheduled to play 10 levels, each lasting 60 minutes, and there are 15-minute breaks after every two levels. The players will also receive a 60-minute dinner break after Level 17.
