Day 3 of Event #71: $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship kicks off at 12 p.m. at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas with 36 players still in contention for the title.

Shiina Okamoto was the chip leader for most of Day 2 and returns today to battle it out on Day 3 with a 2,390,000 chip leading stack. It is a familiar feeling for Okamoto as she was one of the top three chip leaders going into Day 3 of the 2023 Ladies Championship and finished in second place after playing less than an hour of heads-up play with Tamar Abraham, who won the 2023 title.

Cherish Andrews is also amongst the top ten chip counts. She made it this far in 2022 and was the chip leader going into Day 3 of the 2022 Ladies Championship before taking home ninth place. Andrews also came in eighth place in 2021 and will be looking to continue her final table streak into Day 3 today.

Other familiar faces still in contention include Jamie Kerstetter (1,120,000), Nadya Magnus (860,000), Marle Spragg (805,000), and Jen Shahade (295,000).
