Minko On a Heater, Cracks Dan's Aces
Level 24
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Jeremy Dan opened the hijack to 100,000 and Vladimir Minko three-bet to 275,000. Once the blinds folded, Dan shoved for around 1,500,000, and Minko snap-called.
Jeremy Dan: A?A?
Vladimir Minko: Q?Q?
After just losing a chunk of chips, this was a great opportunity for Dan to double up but there was still a runout to sweat.
The dealer put out a flop of Q?8?8? which improved Minko to a set, much to the disbelief of Dan.
"Good game," muttered Dan as he tapped the table.
Dan clearly wasn't confident he could hit an ace and was eliminated as neither the 6? turn nor 4? river were what he needed.
