The Champion Of The Big Bet Mix Will Emerge Today

Xixiang Luo
Xixiang Luo

With nearly one hundred players more in this years field than last years, Event #77: $2,500 Big Bet Mix saw a total of 468 players create a prize pool worth $1,041,300 with the eventual victor taking home $209,942. A mix of seven of the highest stakes games saw the initial field shrink down to just 19 contenders. Each one of the survivors hopes to weather the storms of these highly volatile games and turn this tournament into a bracelet around their wrist.

Leading the way of the final 19 is WSOP bracelet winner Wing Liu who sits with 2,387,000. Originally from Hong Kong the 2023 WSOP saw him collect eight cashes as well as a third place finish for $241,767 in the $3,000 No-Limit Holdem Six-Max. After that the WSOPE happened and Liu collected his first bracelet in the $5,000 PLO for $246,797. With his recent WSOP success, a second bracelet would fit nicely into his burgeoning resume. Sitting right behind him is WSOP bracelet winner and ChipLeaderCoaching team member Alex Foxen, who sits down with 2,243,000. With $32,587,809 in lifetime earnings, the highly respected pro will be looking to add another bracelet to his decorated trophy collection.
