Moulder, Ribeiro, Adcock, and Korn Lead the Way in Star-Studded Field in $2,500 Mixed Big Bet
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #77: $2,500 Mixed Big Bet. A total of 388 players made their way to the Paris Convention Center yesterday to enter this event, and only 122 survived and found a bag for Day 2. However, players still retain the opportunity to register for this event until the end of Level 12 at 2 p.m. local time today. Participants are allowed a total of two reentries.
Leading the pack into Day 2 is Patrick Moulder who bagged 388,500. Moulder is coming off a great summer in which he won his first bracelet in the mixed triple draw event as well as two top-ten finishes in the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. and the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo.
Moulder's closest contender is Anthony Ribeiro with 315,000. The young Brazilian looks to make another deep run in this tournament after he finished eighth in the 2021 edition.
Rounding out the podium in third place is Joshua Adcock. The Kentucky native built a stack early on Day 1 and remained one of the chipleaders throughout the day as he bagged an impressive 312,500.
Andres Korn also bagged a big stack as he finished with 295,000. The Argentina native and bracelet winner has almost $3.4 million in career live tournament earnings. However, he has experienced a rather slow start to the summer. Korn has put himself in a position to change that over the next two days. Late in Day 1, he won a nearly 300,000-chip pot in a hand of Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw against Michael Moncek.

A number of notable players also return today with large stacks, including Allan Le (290,000), David "ODB" Baker (264,000), Joey Couden (219,000), and David Prociak (178,500).
Play resumes at 1 p.m. today in the Horseshoe Ballroom Orange section. The returning players will resume play in Level 12 with blinds at 1,000/2,000 in the pot-limit games and no-limit hold��em and 1,000/2,500 in 2-7 Single Draw and 5-Card Draw.
The mixed big bet format is an exciting format in which mixed game regulars and big-bet professionals go head-to-head in a clash of styles. We can expect huge pots from the very first shuffle today and players will have the chance to enter or reenter through the end of Level 12 at 2 p.m.
