Action folded around to Besmir Hodaj who limped in from the small blind. Dalton Reames checked his option in the big blind and players headed to a flop.
Reames fired 200,000 on 6?9?3? before Hodaj check-raised to 425,000. Reames called.
Hodaj bet small for 375,000 on the K? turn and Reames called once more.
The river J? peeled off completing the possible backdoor flush and Hodaj moved all in for 1,200,000. Reames thought it over for a couple minutes before sticking in the call.
Hodaj showed 5?4? for the whiffed open-ender bluff while Reames tabled 9?4? for a pair of nines. Hodaj was sent to the rail while Reames added to his mountain of chips, crossing the 8,000,000-chip mark.

David Moses became the fourth player in three days to bust at the start of a Day 1 session in the $10,000 buy-in World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. And he wasn't the only one eliminated right off the bat on Day 1c.
On Wednesday — Day 1a — two players were eliminated at separate tables on the first hand. One player lost with a full house against quads, while another flopped a set that was cracked by a straight. More of the same occurred on Day 1b when a flush beat a straight. Unfortunately, for one well-known poker pro, it's happened again for the third straight day.
On a flop of 9?2?7?, Casey Hatmaker was already all in while Ricardo Capela and Changle Lin were battling it out for the side pot.
After checking through the flop, they went to the turn Q? which saw another check from Lin and then a bet of 600,000 from Capela. After a lengthy staredown, Lin decided to toss in his cards and the other two tabled their hands.
Casey Hatmaker: A?K?
Ricardo Capela: A?Q?
Hatmaker needed to hit a king and only a king to stay alive, but the river was the J? to send him out while Capela scooped the healthy pot.
