Simpson Makes the Right Call
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Three ways on a 6?Q?10? flop, Conrad Simpson checked in middle position, the player in the hijack checked, and the player on the button checked.
Action checked to the button on the 6? turn and he bet 700. Both Simpson and the hijack called.
The K? completed the board and Simpson led out for 8,500. The player in the hijack raised to 29,000, which got a quick fold from the button to put the action back on Simpson, who went deep into the tank.
"You either have quads or tens-full?" Simpson mused as he contemplated his decision.
Simpson eventually put in a single chip to indicate a call and his opponent said, "Good call," prompting Simpson to reveal A?9? for the nut flush.
His opponent mucked and Simpson collected the large pot.
