Hands #56-60: Gonzalez Takes From Griff
Hand #56: Andres Gonzalez opened to 4,000,000 from under the gun with 10?10? and was called by Jonathan Tamayo in the big blind with the J?7? to see the 7?5?3? flop. Tamayo check-called for 3,500,000 and they headed to the 9? turn. Tamayo checked once more and Gonzalez now made it 6,200,000 to go. After brief consideration, Tamayo folded.
Hand #57: Niklas Astedt raised to 4,000,000 with A?10? and earned the blinds as well as the big blind ante.
Hand #58: Boris Angelov with the A?10? raised to 4,400,000 first to act and forced folds from everyone, including Jason Sagle in the big blind who exposed the 3?.
Hand #59: Astedt opened to 4,000,000 from an early position with Q?10?. Gonzalez three-bet to 10,000,000 on the button with K?Q? and Astedt laid it down.
Hand #60: Jordan Griff with the Q?Q? raised to 4,000,000 and Gonzalez called in the cutoff with the A?10?. The two players headed to the A?K?8? flop on which Griff led for 2,500,000 and Gonzalez called. Both checked the 4? turn and the J? river completed the board.
Griff bet just 2,000,000 and Gonzalez raised to 16,500,000. The reluctant fold by Griff followed and Gonzalez dragged in the pot.
