Aloisio Dourado Eliminated in 53rd Place ($200,000)

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Aloisio Dourado
Aloisio Dourado

Daniel Erlandsson raised to 500,000 in middle position before Aloisio Dourado jammed his stack of 3,000,000 in the middle from the cutoff.

Erlandsson made the call with the covering stack once it had folded back to him, and the cards hit their backs.

Aloisio Dourado: 3?3? All in
Daniel Erlandsson: J?J?

It was a dire situation for Dourado, even more so when Erlandsson hit a set on the 8?A?J? flop. The 10? saw Dourado brick his runner-runner quads out, making the 9? river meaningless as he headed to the exit.

Charles Alex-Barton Eliminated in 52nd Place ($200,000)

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Charles Alex-Barton
Charles Alex-Barton

The cards were already on their backs when the all-in and call was announced by the dealer and Charles Alex-Barton was at risk of elimination from the button versus Jason Sagle from early position.

Charles Alex-Barton: A?Q? All in
Jason Sagle: J?10?

The board ran out with a safe 3?3?9? flop, but the J? shifted the advantage to Sagle. The 2? river didn't change Alex-Barton's fate as he was eliminated from the tournament.

Alex-Barton can collect $200,000 at the payout desk.

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Daniel Kyosev
Daniel Kyosev

Daniel Kyosev moved all in for 950,000 in early position and Garrett Bok called in the hijack.

Daniel Kyosev: A?Q? All in
Garrett Bok: 7?7?

Kyosev was racing for his tournament life as the K?J?8? flop gave him straight and flush draws. The 10? fell on the turn and Kyosev made the best hand in poker, a royal flush, to seal the pot. The 9? completed the board on the river and Kyosev doubled up.

Jesse Capps Eliminated in 51st Place ($200,000)

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Jesse Capps
Jesse Capps

Following a min-raise to 500,000 by Gabriel Moura, Jesse Capps pushed forward his small stack from the small blind and the dealer announced "a wager for all they got". Jason Sagle then reraised to 5,000,000 in the big blind and Moura folded.

Sagle already exposed his cards but Capps had kept one T-25,000 chip hidden between his ducks at the table while he had committed 2,475,000 already. Capps then proceeded to hold a "duck seance" and said he'd need help on the turn. While this was happening, the clock was called on him and Capps called a few seconds later.

Jesse Capps: 10?10? All in
Jason Sagle: K?K?

The help never came on a board of A?7?5?6?2? and Capps bowed out in 50th place for $200,000.

Kim Turns the Nuts to Double Off Shylko

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Brian Kim
Brian Kim

Brian Kim raised to 525,000 in middle position and Aliaksandr Shylko called on the button, as did big blind Orson Young.

The flop came Q?J?3? and action checked to Shylko who bet 600,000. Only Kim called.

The turn was the 10? and Shylko bet another 1,400,000. Kim then raised to 4,425,000, Shylko moved all in, and Kim called for 200,000 more.

Shylko showed Q?J? for top two pair, but Kim had turned the nut straight holding A?K?. The 4? river didn't improve Shylko and Kim doubled up.

Daniel Kyosev
Daniel Kyosev

Daniel Kyosev moved all in for 1,900,000 in middle position and Orson Young called in the small blind.

Daniel Kyosev: A?9? All in
Orson Young: K?K?

Kyosev was looking for an ace to stay alive, but none arrived on the 10?8?2? flop. The 3? turn kept Young's kings in the lead, while the river was the Q? and Kyosev was sent to the rail in 50th place.

Davis on Fumes After Doubling Hernandez

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Gerardo Hernandez
Gerardo Hernandez

Start of day chipleader Kevin Davis opened to 600,000 from under the gun and Gerardo Hernandez three-bet to 2,000,000 in the cutoff. Davis responded by four-betting to 6,100,000 before snapping off with the slightly larger stack after Hernandez shoved for 19,600,000.

Gerardo Hernandez: A?A? All in
Kevin Davis: K?K?

It was the ultimate preflop cooler with massive equity implications on the line. The J?10?9? flop did give Davis some hope in the form of a gutshot but nothing changed on either the J? turn or 2? river to hand Hernandez a huge double that sees him capture the tournament chiplead while leaving Davis with dust.

Below are some highlights of Level 31 of the Main Event

Orson Young raised to 600,000 in the cutoff before Mauro Juarez moved all in for 1,900,000 in the small blind. Jordan Griff called in the big blind, while Young got out of the way.

Mauro Juarez: A?10? All in
Jordan Griff: A?J?

Both players hit top pair on the A?4?3? flop, but Griff remained in the lead with his jack-kicker through the K? turn and K? river to send Juarez to the rail in 49th place.

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Kevin Davis
Kevin Davis

Jean Lhuillier went all in for 2,050,000 chips on the button. Kevin Davis, who had doubled up in the big blind the hand before, called for 750,000 chips, and Daniel Zadok called as well in the big blind, covering both other players.

Kevin Davis: K?9? All in
Jean Lhuillier: Q?10? All in
Daniel Zadok: K?J?

Lhuillier made a pair of queens on the Q?6?J? flop, and that remained the best hand on the A?2? runout. He eliminated start-of-day leader Davis while doubling up himself.
