Foxen Loses the Minimum in a Massive Cooler Against Coelho

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Diogo Coelho
Diogo Coelho

Short stack Diogo Coelho raised to 2,400,000 in the cutoff with A?A? and Kristen Foxen defended her big blind after picking up K?K?. The 10?A?5? flop was checked by Foxen, after which Coelho bet 1,200,000 with top set.

Foxen called for the 8? to appear on the turn. Foxen checked, and Coelho bet 3,000,000 after some time in the tank. Foxen called to the 3? river, which she checked again.

After some more thinking time, Coelho pushed all in for his remaining 6,700,000 chips. Foxen folded fairly quickly, increasing Coelho's stack significantly.

Latinois Doubles Through Sagle

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Malo Latinois
Malo Latinois

First to act, Jason Sagle raised to 2,500,000 and the only player to call was table short stack Malo Latinois in the big blind. On the Q?8?4? flop, Latinois checked and Sagle simply bet big with the covering stack for Latinois to call all-in for 10,400,000.

Malo Latinois: K?3? All in
Jason Sagle: 4?4?

Latinois' flopped flush was up against bottom set, after which he avoided the board to pair thanks to the 7? turn and 5? river runout to stay in contention.

Griff Hits Quads to Take the Lead

Level 39 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante
Jordan Griff
Jordan Griff

Jordan Griff min-raised to 3,200,000 from under the gun and was called by both Niklas Astedt and Joe Serock in the blinds. The 9?6?5? flop saw Astedt lead for 3,500,000 and Serock called, as did Griff.

The trio headed to the Q? turn and Astedt slowed down and checked. Serock bet 11,000,000 and Griff called while Astedt got out of the way.

That led them to the 5? on the river where Serock glanced at his table neighbor before he bet 35,000,000.

Griff moved all in after some consideration and Serock was instantly stunned, shook his head and asked for the exact amount of the shove. The all-in was for 61,000,000 and Serock folded to get shown the 5?5? for quads by Griff.

"I had eight-seven," Serock said, indicating he folded a flopped straight.

Level 39 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante
Diogo Coelho
Diogo Coelho

Diogo Coelho raised to 6,800,000 from under the gun for most of his stack. Niklas Astedt called from early position and the rest of the table got out of the way.

The K?Q?6? flop was checked by Coelho and Astedt bet enough to put him all in. Coelho ended up putting in his last 4,900,000.

Diogo Coelho: A?J? All in
Niklas Astedt: A?K?

Astedt showed top pair and Coelho needed running cards or a ten to avoid elimination, but the Q? turn and 8? river ended his run in tenth place for $800,000. The final nine players will now be bagging their chips before taking on all picture and interview duties.

Full chip counts and a recap of today's action are to follow.
