Alec Torelli upped the aggression when Dong Chen raised from a middle position to 1,200,000 and Torelli found a jam from the small blind. Chen folded to the shove.
A few hands later Clement Richez raised from the cutoff to 1,200,000. Alec Torelli called from the button and Dong Chen defended the big blind.
The flop came 4?Q?10? and action checked to Torelli who bet out 1,200,000. This prompted two folds and gave Torelli the pot.
In the next hand action folded to Torelli, now in the cutoff, who raised to 1,200,000. Adam Owen defended and the players saw a 2?3?10? flop. Torelli bet around 900,000 and Owen made the call, taking the players to the K? turn.
Owen checked and Torelli bet 4,000,000, which was folded to by Owen.
Torelli gave some back to Chen after he raised from a middle position to 1,200,00 and Chen moved effectively all in, leaving only 600,000 behind. Torelli mucked his hand and seven players still remain to battle it out for the title.
Adam Owen opened from middle position to 1,100,000. Boris Kuzmanovic jammed out of the small blind for 8,325,000. Owen rubbed his head and shifted around in his seat while he thought for a few moments before turning over his cards and tossing in his chips for the call in a similar manner as he had done before.
Boris Kuzmanovic: 3?3?
Adam Owen: A?Q?
It was a big flip as Owen had the same hand as the previous all-in he had been involved in. The flop came 5?2?J?. The turn was the K? to give Owen an out to Broadway as well. The river came the Q? to bust Kuzmanovic and act as a much needed card for Owen who bounded back up the counts to stop his slide.
Clement Richez raised from under the gun to 1,000,000 and Boris Kuzmanovic three-bet to 2,500,000. David Uvaydov moved all in for around 8,000,000, prompting Richez to quickly fold. Kuzmanovic took some time but eventually threw his cards into the muck, leaving Uvaydov to scoop up the pot.
Uvaydov's rail cheered, and made the comment, "show them your deuces," as Uvaydov counted his new stack.
Adam Owen opened for 1,100,000 from middle position. Alec Torelli ripped 11,900,000 from the small blind. Owen got the count and considered it for a while before tossing in the chips and hastily tabling his hand in one motion.
Alec Torelli: K?J?
Adam Owen: A?Q?
"Good call," said Torelli, when the cards were displayed. Then the board came 3?K?J? to give Torelli the lead. The turn was the 5?. Torelli needed to avoid a ten to stay alive which he did when the K? came down to fill him up and create a big change in chips at the table.
