Rollercoaster for Leng
Hand 1
On a three-way flop of J?5?J?, Thomas Pohnke and Ryan Leng check, a player bets 3,000, Pohnke calls and Leng check-raised to 22,000.
The original raiser quickly got out of the way but Pohnke called, which earned him some side-eye from Leng.
The two players then checked through the 2? turn and went straight to the 9? river.
Pohnke checked, Leng bet 20,000, and Pohnke check-raised to 80,000. Leng shook his head but quickly called, only to be shown the stone-cold nuts K?J?9?4?. Leng was visibly frustrated and tossed in his cards while the substantial pot was shipped to Pohnke.
Hand 2
On a three-way turn of 7?5?2?9?, a player bet 6,000 and was immediately raised to 40,000 by another player, Leng cold-called, and the original raiser folded.
The river came the 7? and Leng le-jammed, covering his opponent who went into the tank. After almost a full minute, the player made the call for his tournament life.
"Full house," Leng announced and flipped over K?10?9?7? for sevens full of nines.
His opponent was in utter disbelief and looked at his cards one more time before he crumpled them in his hand (enough to call for a new setup) and threw them on the table, showing A?J?8?6? for the turned straight.
