Peters Busts Zinno by Cracking His Aces
Level 12
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Anthony Zinno came to PokerNews to tell us how he exited the tournament in the final level.
Zinno said that Fahredin Mustafov raised to 40,000 from early position and David Peters three-bet from the seat next to him to 120,000. Zinno then four-bet out of the big blind to 215,000. Mustafov folded, but Peter's shoved all in for Zinno's remaining 600,000. Zinno snap-called and the cards were revealed.
Anthony Zinno: AxAx
David Peters: QxQx
Zinno looked in great shape to become one of the chip leaders of the tournament going into Day 2. However, the dealer put a Qx on the flop to catapult Peter's into the lead. There was no miracle ace for Zinno on the rest of the runout, and he was sent to the rail because of a brutal bad beat by Peters.
