Bach and Kim Chop

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

David Bach raised to 30,000 and Wook Kim called in the big blind as both players drew two.

Kim bet out 15,000 and Bach called as both players drew one and checked.

Kim stood pat and Bach took one as both players checked again.

Kim tabled his {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Bach fanned his {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} to see the pot chopped up.

The tournament is currently on a short break while there is a color-up of all the blue 500-denomination chips.

Milkey Quarters Arvidson

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Kevin Iacofano opened for 15,000 in the cutoff, and Anthony Arvidson called on the button, as did Scott Milkey in the small blind. The flop came {4-Spades}{a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and action checked to Arvidson, who bet 30,000. Milkey slid in a call, while Iacofano mucked.

On the {5-Hearts} turn, Milkey checked and Arvidson potted 111,000. Milkey put it in for 167,500, and Arvidson called.

Arvidson: {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Milkey: {j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

Both players had the wheel with redraws on the high side. It was Milkey who hit his as the {10-Hearts} fell, giving him a flush for three quarters.

Wook Kim raised pot from middle position and picked up the blinds.

On the next hand Kim again raised pot to 21,000, and Christopher Sensoli defended his big blind. The flop fell {5-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Sensoli checked to Kim who bet pot of 45,000 to be basically all in. Sensoli folded, and Kim moved his stack upwards to nearly 100,000.

Two-Pair for Sensoli

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Christopher Sensoli raised to 16,000 and Kevin Iacofano called on the button, as did Scott Milkey from the big blind.

The {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{A-Clubs} was checked through as the {10-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Sensoli bet out 35,000. Iacofano called and Milkey check-folded as the {K-Clubs} on the river went check, check.

Sensoli tabled his {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades} for two pair and Iacofano folded.

Brandon Cantu Eliminated in 8th Place ($10,779)

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Brandon Cantu
Brandon Cantu

2-7 Single Draw

David Bach raised to 15,000 on the button and Brandon Cantu moved all in from the small blind. It was just a hair under 100,000, and Bach announced a call. Cantu took one, and Bach patted.

"I just have a jack," Bach said, fanning {j-}{10-}{8-}{6-}{3-}.

"Oooh," Cantu said, showing {9-}{8-}{6-}{2-}.

He sweated out his last card slowly. He noted that two across was a winner for him, paint was live, and three across was 50-50. It turned out to be three across but he said it was a club. He craned his neck to see Bach's cards, and neither his six nor his eight were clubs, a bad sign for Cantu, who also had no clubs.

"Two-to-one dog," he said.

He peeked at the front of his card for the big reveal and then showed the {6-Clubs}.

"Good game, guys."
