Hector Martin Doubles Through Chan

Level 34 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante

The action was folded around to Daniel Chan in the small blind who moved all in. Hector Martin was in the big blind with just 945,000 remaining and called. Martin was ahead with {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} versus Chan's {9-Clubs}{3-Spades}. The flop came {K-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and both players hit a pair on the flop. The turn was the {J-Clubs} and the river was the {7-Spades}, giving Martin a full double-up.

MacDonnell Wins Biggest Pot on the Table

Level 34 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante
Marc MacDonnell
Marc MacDonnell

In what turned out to be the largest pot and longest hand played on the first table today, it got everyone out of their seats and the rail making some noise. Marc MacDonnell raised to 410,000 from under the gun and Hector Martin called from the button.

The flop came {J-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and MacDonnell checked to Martin who bet 655,000. MacDonnell called and the {10-Hearts} fell on the turn. MacDonnell checked again and Martin bet 955,000 this time. MacDonnell once again called and the river brought the {3-Hearts}.

MacDonnell changed things up and led out for 1,760,000 and that sent Martin into the tank. He thought for over five minutes before eventually putting together the chips for a call and slid them forward. MacDonnell tabled {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the nut flush and now sits as the chip leader on feature table one.

Yockey Gets Some Back, Doubles Through Boyko

Level 33 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Bryce Yockey moved all in from under the gun for his last 1,575,000. Yuriy Boyko was in the small blind and called.

Boyko tabled {a-Spades}{9-Spades}, at risk against Boyko's {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a coin flip.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Yockey paired his ace, but Boyko held the only diamond between the two players. The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river was the {2-Hearts}. Yockey locked up the double and got some chips back.

"I Think We're On Different Levels"

Level 33 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

With about 650,000 in the pot, on a flop reading {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, Bryce Yockey bet 300,000 from the big blind. Yuriy Boyko was on the button and called.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and Yockey bet 675,000 this time. Boyko tanked for about a minute and called again.

The river was the {a-Hearts} and Yockey led out for 1,200,000. Boyko asked how much Yockey had behind, which was 1,380,000, and eventually just called.

Yockey tabled {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for a straight, and Boyko showed {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a flush. Yockey threw his hands up in the air and said, "You played that one great." Boyko looked up from stacking his chips and asked, "You think I played that one bad?" "You called with queen-high" responded Yockey.

"I think we're on different levels," smirked Boyko.

Updated Counts From Feature Table One

Level 33 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Feature table one has consistently featured some raises preflop and a lot of folding. The short stacks have found a way to pick up the blinds by pushing all in, and there hasn't been much action postflop. Players are also taking a lot of time to think when it is their turn to act with such high stakes on the line. Here is a look at some updated chip counts:

Yuriy Boyko
Yuriy Boyko

Yuriy Boyko called from the small blind, and Pablo Mariz raised to 550,000 from the big blind. Boyko paused for a moment and then called.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Boyko checked. Mariz bet 500,000 and Boyko called. The turn was the {8-Spades} and both players checked to the river, which was the {6-Clubs}. Boyko looked over at Mariz for a few moments and then checked again. Mariz checked back, and Boyko announced, "Fives" and tabled {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}. Mariz mucked and Boyko's active rail clapped as he raked in the pot.
