Welcome to Event #25: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha
The 2017 World Series of Poker is in full swing, and the next tournament on the agenda is Event #25: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha. Last year in this event, high stakes cash game pro Sam Soverel topped a field of 1,106 entries to win $185,317 and his first gold bracelet.
Cards will be in the air at 11 a.m. local time and players will start with 5,000 chips. Ten one-hour levels are on the schedule for Day 1, with 20-minute breaks every two levels and a 90-minute dinner break after Level 6 at approximately 5:40 p.m. Late registration will run through the dinner break and will end when level seven begins at about 7:10 p.m.
