The remaining 21 players in Event #27: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed get back to the felt today for a 12 noon restart to play down to a winner. With a field of 959 entries, 144 players get a piece of the $2,589,300 total prize pool.
Max Silver is a London poker pro looking for his first WSOP gold. Silver starts the day way out in the lead with 2,219,000. He is the only player in the 2,000,000-chip range. In fact, he is one of only two players above 1,000,000 chips, the other being Morten Mortensen with 1,160,000.
Several accomplished poker pros will also be battling for that first place prize. Blinds will be 6,000/12,000 with a 2,000 ante to start for the first 30 minutes, and there will be breaks every two hours of play. Play will begin in the Miranda room, and the final table will take place on the Main Stage in Brasilia. It will also be livestreamed.
