The player in the cutoff opened with a raise to 3,000, and Allen Kessler three-bet to 10,000 from the small blind. The cutoff called to commit most of his chips.
The flop came , and Kessler bet enough to put the cutoff to a decision for the remainder of his stack. He quickly called, and both players tabled their hands.

The cutoff had the lead with two pair, and Kessler needed to improve in order to take any of the pot.
"You put your whole tournament on that?" Wow," remarked Kessler.
The fell on the turn, giving Kessler a low draw, and the on the river completed it, so the two players chopped the pot.
"It's okay to fold a hand once in a while," Kessler said as he stacked his chips.
