Christopher Reaches New Heights

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

A player in early position raised all in for 12,700. Christopher Haydt was on the button and reraised to 23,000. Everyone else folded.

Haydt tabled {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and his opponent showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

The board ran out {6-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Haydt took it down. From the looks of things, it appears Haydt has about 10 bounties and Greg Mueller, who is sitting next to him said, "He's knocked out everyone at this table since I sat down." Sounds like he's on fire.

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Max Pescatori
Max Pescatori

On a flop of {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, Steven Wolansky checked to Max Pescatori who bet 5,500. Wolansky bet an amount to set Pescatori all in and he called.

Pescatori: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Wolansky: {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and the river was the {2-Diamonds}. Wolansky didn't get the help he needed and Pescatori got the double-up.

Three Players Chop 281st Place ($332.66)

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On the money bubble, Jorge Rios moved all in from early position and was called by Howie Shen who put himself at risk for elimination.

Rios: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Shen: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Shen was one of the players eliminated to three-way chop the money bubble.

On another table, Brian Fite and his opponent committed 20,000 preflop, after a series of raises.

The flop came all hearts and Fite committed his remaining 50,000 with {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and unfortunately ran into his opponents {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

The third player eliminated was Maria Lampropoulou. She moved all in with {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and ran into Jeffrey Winshall's pocket aces.

Following the hand, Winshell insisted that Lampropoulou keep her bounty chip as consolation, and even gave an additional $100.

"I don't need it," said Winshell, following the hand. "I'm very fortunate. There are some good people out there."

"It's my good deed. When you give back you'll get back," he added.

Each player split the 281st place prize, receiving $332,66 for their efforts.

Clock!

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The tournament directors are running around like crazy as it seems clock is being called at 10 different tables every hand being played. The money bubble is close and everyone wants to make it in. Until hand-for-hand begins, this seems to be the trend. One of the tournament directors just went out to cover three clocks in one area joking with all of them that "everyone is on a ten-second clock," getting a roaring applause and laughter.

Pace Slows as Bubble Approaches

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Amidst all of the tables and the looming money bubble, a chip leader has emerged and his name is Ryan Olisar. With this structure and setup, things can change quickly, but Olisar is an accomplished American pro with over $1 million in recorded live tournament cashes.

Hinkle Eliminated Short of the Money

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Blair Hinkle - (earlier in the series)
Blair Hinkle - (earlier in the series)

With the flop showing {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Spades} and just over 10,000 in the pot, the player in the big blind checked. Blair Hinkle was in middle position and checked before Gavin O'Rourke bet out 6,600. The big blind called. Hinkle then moved all in for over 30,000 in chips. O'Rourke called. The big blind folded.

O'Rourke: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Hinkle: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Hinkle was in great shape until the {q-Clubs} spiked on the turn, giving O'Rourke two pairs.

The {8-Clubs} on the river didn't help Hinkle as he was sent to the rail.
