Dmitry Yurasov Finds Hope on the Turn

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Dmitry Yurasov
Dmitry Yurasov

Dmitry Yurasov moved all in for 330,000 from middle position and Eric Wasserson asked for a count before calling on the buton.

Yurasov was at risk with {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, far behind the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} of Wasserson.

The flop came {q-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} and it was looking grim for Yurasov. The turn, however, was the {6-Diamonds} and Wasserson uncomfortably shifted in his chair as Yurasov took the lead with a pair of sixes. The river was the {2-Clubs} and Yurasov survived to see another hand.

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Albert Daher
Albert Daher

Albert Daher completed in the small blind and Tommy Chen checked his option. The flop came {Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and both players checked. On the {8-Diamonds} turn, Daher bet out 45,000 and Chen called. The river was the {2-Spades} and Daher bet 150,000. Chen cut out some chips, looked at Daher, and, after about a minute, he called.

Daher showed {A-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a pair of eights with an ace kicker to take down the pot.

Makhija and Wasserson Play a Big One

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Eric Wasserson
Eric Wasserson

Amit Makhija raised to 70,000 from the cutoff and Eric Wasserson put in a three-bet to 240,000 from the small blind. Makhija paused for a moment and called.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Wasserson led out for 200,000. Makhija called. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {k-Hearts} on the river.

Wasserson took his time and eventually fired out a bet of 580,000. Makhija asked for a count and, after a minute, he threw in a pile of chips to call.

"You got it," said Wasserson. Makhija tabled {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for two pairs, kings and eights, and Wasserson took one more look at his cards before tossing them into the muck.

Artem Metalidi Finds a Four to Double Through Kristen Bicknell

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Artem Metalidi
Artem Metalidi

Grayson Ramage opened to 70,000 on the button and Artem Metalidi went all in for 430,000 in the small blind. Kristen Bicknell re-shoved in the big blind and Ramage got out of the way.

Metalidi: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Bicknell: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

Bicknell had Metalidi dominated, but the flop came {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, giving Metalidi a pair of fours to take the lead. The {5-Clubs} turn paired the board and the {2-Diamonds} river changed nothing. Metalidi doubled up with two pairs, fives and fours.

Tommy Chen limped in from under the gun and William Stevenson raised to 100,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back around to Chen and he moved all in. Stevenson tanked for a while and eventually called.

Stevenson was at risk with {a-}{10-} while Chen held {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a flip.

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Stevenson was unable to improve, sending him to the rail in 14th place. Chen put up a mini fist pump before raking in the pot.

Eric Wasserson
Eric Wasserson

Kristen Bicknell raised to 70,000 on the button and Eric Wasserson made it 205,000 in the small blind. Dmitry Yurasov went all in from the big blind with both players covered. Bicknell folded and Wasserson called.

Yurasov: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Wasserson: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, giving Yurasov top pair with the gut-shot straight draw and backdoor flush draw, but a set of tens for Wasserson. The {3-Diamonds} turn gave Wasserson flush outs, and the river was the {5-Hearts}. Wasserson's set was good and he doubled through.

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Charlie Carrel
Charlie Carrel

Charlie Carrel returned from break to the feature table short-stacked and promptly began getting his stack all in.

The first hand back, he shoved in the cutoff and Kristen Bicknell called on the button. The blinds folded and Carrel was at risk.

Carrel: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}
Bicknell: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

Carrel was behind but the board ran out {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} {8-Hearts} {6-Spades}, giving Carrel a flush to double up.

A few hands later, Carrel went all in again, this time in the small blind for 440,000. Bicknell once again called to put him at risk.

Carrel: {A-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Bicknell: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

When the hands were tabled, Bicknell stood up and said, "I don't want to lose this hand... sorry."

Carrel responded, "It's okay. I too do not want to lose this hand."

The board came {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} {K-Hearts} {7-Clubs} and Bicknell made sevens full. Carrel was eliminated in 15th place for a payday of $30,922.
