Jason Riesenberg Eliminated in 10th Place ($12,034)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Jason Riesenberg
Jason Riesenberg

Jason Riesenberg was all in from under the gun for his last 59,000. He got three callers: Michael Gross, Wendy Weissman and Millard Hale.

The remaining three players checked down the board of {6-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}, and all cards were turned over.

Riesenberg: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}
Gross: {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Weissman: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Hale: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}

Hale had flopped a flush, and with no low hand, he scooped the pot, eliminating Riesenberg in 11th place for $12,034.

Riesenberg Shoves into Aces, Ends Up Quartered

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Jason Riesenberg
Jason Riesenberg

Action on a ten-handed final table is usually slow when it comes to pot-limit Omaha, and this table hasn't been any different.

Nonetheless, Jason Riesenberg knew he was soon going to make his move, and he picked his spot when Ray Henson opened from the second position.

Riesenberg had a four-to-a-wheel hand, holding {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Unfortunately for him, Henson had an even stronger weapon, showing {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Spades} for bullets with two additional low cards.

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{K-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, leaving Henson's aces as the high-hand winner. Both players used their ace-deuce for the best possible low, and Riesenberg had to give up half of his chips, being quartered.

Riesenberg is playing a micro stack, and he'll soon be inevitably all in again.

Kevin Saul Eliminated in 11th Place ($12,034)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Kevin Saul
Kevin Saul

Kevin Saul has been grinding a downhill course since the start of this level, and his velocity even increased. Saul wasn't able to change the direction and fell all the way down.

First, he suffered a big blow in a pot that started with Saul raising to 45,000 from the button. Millard Hale called from the big blind and the action on the flop looked like a game of tennis. The ball was moving left to right within seconds.

Hale checked on the {4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and what followed was a super-fast "pot-all-in-call" sequence.

Hale: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Saul: {6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}

Hale hit the flop right on the money, having top two pairs in addition to a flush draw. Saul had only a gutshot straight draw. While he wasn't likely to win the high half of the pot, he needed one more low card to secure a chop.

The {7-Diamonds} turn sealed the high for Hale and the {4-Diamonds} river missed Saul's low outs.

Saul was down to his last 168,000 and he lost his remaining chips in the following minutes. Michael Gross drew a close to Saul's performance with {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Saul's cards and the board were already mucked by the time we arrived.

Barny Boatman

Nathan Gamble raised to 60,000 from the cutoff. Ray Henson moved all in from the button and Barny Boatman moved all in for less from the big blind. Gamble called, putting two players at risk.

Boatman: {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Henson: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Gamble: {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs}, giving Gamble a wheel for the low and Henson a flush, eliminating Boatman. He took home $12,034 for his 12th-place finish.

Marco Johnson raised to 40,000 from the cutoff and Andrew Watson was all in blind for around 30,000 from the big blind.

Johnson: {2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Watson: {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

"That's not a good window card," said Watson with the board coming {5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. The turn was the {9-Spades} and the river the {4-Diamonds}, meaning Johnson made a straight and a six low, eliminating Watson in 13th place for $9,513.

Nathan Gamble raised to 40,000 and Wendy Weissman called in the small blind. Barry Greenstein was all in for 49,000 from the big blind and both players called.

The remaining two players checked a flop and turn of {q-}{8-Clubs}{4-}{9-Clubs} before Weissman check-folded to a bet of 50,000 on the {k-Clubs} river.

Gamble turned over {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-}{10-} for the nut flush and Greenstein mucked {2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-}{4-} and was eliminated in 14th place for $9,513.

John O'Shea
John O'Shea

John O'Shea raised to 55,000 from the button and the action stopped at Michael Gross in the big blind. Gross announced "pot," making it 175,000. O'Shea matched the big price.

The flop fell {K-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Gross immediately declared he was all in, covering O'Shea's stack.

"Call," O'Shea responded quietly.

"Call?" ensured Gross before turning up his cards.

O'Shea: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Gross: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

"Come on," Gross said, believing he was going to get there. But then the {Q-Clubs} hit the felt on the turn. "Oh my god," Gross reacted in disappointment.

However, the {7-Hearts} river changed the outcome again, as Gross hit a fifth heart. "Yes! Yes!" Gross let out in excitement. The dealer shipped him all of O'Shea's chips while the Irishman left the tournament in 15th place, earning $9,513.

The flop came {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Macia bet pot 110,000 and Greenstein called. He put the rest of his chips in on the {j-Diamonds} turn and Greenstein called.

Greenstein: {3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Macia: {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

The river was the {8-Spades}, giving Macia a pair of eights and a low, scooping Greenstein to leave him very short.
