"What'd You Get In This Tournament Last Year Anyways?"

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Randy Ohel
Randy Ohel

Ohel: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} / {x-}
Shak: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{Q-Spades}{K-Spades} / {x-}
Brunson: {x-}{x-} / {J-Hearts}{3-Spades}{X-} - fold

Randy Ohel completed. Dan Shak called. Todd Brunson made it three bets, and both Ohel and Shak called.

Ohel and Shak checked to Brunson on fourth, and he bet it. Both players called. On fifth, Ohel picked up the lead. He bet. Shak called.

"There was no doubt in my mind that that is what was going to happen," Brunson said, then folded.

On sixth street, Ohel bet again. Shak raised. Ohel made it three bets, and Shak called. Ohel bet again on seventh, and Shak called once more.

"Full house," Ohel said. He showed {4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}.

"Damn it," Shak said. "I made the flush." He showed {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}, so Ohel took down the pot.

"What did you get in the tournament last year anyways?" Chris Vitch asked Randy Ohel after the hand.

"Second," he said. He wasn't lying either. Last year, Ohel finished runner-up to George Danzer in this very same event. Danzer did not return this year to defend his title, though. He tweeted that he was going to take the Series off this year after becoming a new father.
