Rheem Loses Another
Level 21
: 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Twenty minutes into the final day, Chino Rheem has already lost about half of his stack.
Aleksei Altshuller was the latest player to wound him, facing Rheem's bet of what looked to be 225,000 on the river. The board was and Altshuller called.
Rheem opened his and knew his top pair wouldn't be good. Altshuller turned up his and the dealer announced tens and nines. Altshuller quickly reminded her about having straight, but two pair would have been enough to win the pot, too.
Altshuller is now closing on one million in chips while Rheem is now playing about a half of that.
