Luneau Nearly Doubles after Chopping a Four-Way Pot

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Smith Sirisakorn raised from the middle, earning a call from his left-hand opponent Jameson Painter. Alex Luneau joined from the small blind, leaving himself with only 15,000. Big blind John Sorgen called as well.

Luneau led for his remaining bits on the {3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} flop. Sorgen and Sirisakorn folded, but Painter called.

Luneau: {J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Painter: {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

"Wow, nice flop," came from the rail. Painter flopped the wheel but Luneau had outs for a wheel as well, in addition to his straight-flush draw.

The turn {8-Clubs} brought no help for Luneau, but he made the wheel on the {2-Clubs} river, chopping the pot with Painter.

With the dead money from Sorgen and Sirisakorn, Luneau nearly doubled his short stack.

Luneau Short

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

From the button, Larry Tull raised to 40,000 and Alex Luneau called in the big blind.

Tull bet 20,000 on the {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop and Luneau check-called before both players checked the {10-Clubs} on the turn.

The river of the {4-Clubs} saw Luneau check, Tull bet 40,000, and Luneau call.

Luneau tabled his {K-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, but it would be Tull's {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} that would scoop the pot with a straight and a low.

Luneau Releases

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Alex Luneau raised to 40,000 from under the gun and Larry Tull called in the small blind and checked the {2-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{A-Clubs} flop.

Luneau bet 20,000 and Tull called before he checked the {4-Spades} on the turn.

Luneau bet 40,000 and Tull check-raised to 80,000. Luneau released and dropped to 155,000 as Tull moved up to 1.3 million.

Sirisakorn Has It Again

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Jared Bleznick leaned over to his left, checking Smith Sirisakorn's and Jameson Painter's stacks. Then he raised from the button and both blinds called.

Bleznick continued on the {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{Q-Spades} flop and both Sirisakorn and Painter called again.

The {8-Spades} turn and the {10-Clubs} river were both checked through.

"Full house," Sirisakorn announced with a voice of a convinced winner. He rolled over his {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and both of his opponents mucked.

Naoya Kihara Eliminated in 10th Place ($13,662)

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Naoya Kihara - 10th place
Naoya Kihara - 10th place

Stud Hi-Lo

Naoya Kihara lost a big pot to Jameson Painter on the previous hand where he folded fifth street to a Painter bet and would be left with just one big bet.

After Painter brought it in, Larry Tull completed to 20,000 before Naoya Kihara raised all in for his last 36,000. Painter called, as did Tull. Tull bet fourth and fifth streets with Painter calling once, and then folding fifth.

Painter: {X-}{X-} / {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades} (folded on fifth)
Tull: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} / {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Kihara: {Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} / {3-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

On sixth, Tull caught the {10-Spades} and Kihara the {10-Clubs} to be left drawing dead.

On seventh, Tull found the {5-Hearts} and Kihara the {A-Hearts}, and he would be eliminated in 10th place for a $13,662 payday.

Rossi Quarters Bleznick

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Cards were up on the river with the board reading {2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Bonnie Rossi was all in against Jared Bleznick, although it wasn't clear when the chips went in.

Rossi: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Bleznick: {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Both players made a wheel for the nut low, but Rossi had a six-high straight to take three-quarters of the pot.

Rossi Keeps Falling

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Bonnie Rossi opted to complete with the {3-Clubs} and Smith Sirisakorn called with the {J-Clubs}.

Rossi received a king on fourth and bet again. Smith stuck around.

Fifth street saw Sirisakorn hit a king as well, and he led out. Rossi shook her head and laid down.

Rossi: {X-}{X-} / {3-Clubs}{K-Spades}{9-Clubs} (folded on fifth)
Sirisakorn: {X-}{X-} / {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
