Mon Rescued on the River

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Samoeun Mon raised with the {7-Clubs} up, and the action stopped at Smith Sirisakorn, who re-raised. Mon pushed all his chips towards the middle, and Sirisakorn called.

Smith Sirisakorn: {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} / {4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts} / {8-Clubs}
Samoeun Mon: {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades} / {7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} / {6-Hearts}

Sirisakorn made a flush and a low, and Mon's tournament life was on the edge. He peeled the river card, which needed to pair up with any of his other cards. It was the {6-Hearts}, which brought a full house for Mon to rescue the high half of the pot for him.

"East coast!" his railbirds from both sides of the table shouted, celebrating Mon's surviving moment.

Mon Survives, Painter Wins Side

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

From under the gun, Jameson Painter opened to 80,000, and Larry Tull called next to act. Samoeun Mon called all in for his last 60,000, and Smith Sirisakorn called in the big blind.

The {6-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop was checked through. The {2-Hearts} turn saw Painter bet 80,000, and both Tull and Sirisakorn called. The {Q-Diamonds} river was checked through.

Painter tabled his {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} for the low and two pair. Tull's {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Sirisakorn's {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades} were no good for either half of the pot.

One by one, Mon revealed his {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{2-Spades} for two pair to stay alive and move his stack to 130,000 in chips.

Tull Quarters Mon

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Small blind Larry Tull completed and short stack Samoeun Mon raised from the big blind.

Tull called, and they ended up all in on the {7-Spades}{A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} flop where Tull check-raised to put Mon at risk.

Samoeun Mon: {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Larry Tull: {8-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

The runout {3-Clubs} and {2-Hearts} favoured Tull, who made the same low as Mon but hit better two pair. He received a half of Mon's 160,000 chips, taking three-quarters of the pot.

Full House for Painter

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Jared Bleznick raised the button, and both Smith Sirisakorn and Jameson Painter called in the blinds.

The flop fell {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}, and Bleznick bet 40,000 with both Sirisakorn and Painter calling. The turn landed the {7-Clubs}, and both Sirisakorn and Painter checked to Bleznick, who bet 80,000. Sirisakorn and Painter called again as the river landed the {A-Hearts}. Sirisakorn checked, Painter bet 80,000, and Bleznick raised to 160,000. Sirisakorn folded, but Painter called.

Painter tabled {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a full house, and Bleznick mucked.

Flush for Sirisakorn

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Jared Bleznick limped in from the small blind, and Smith Sirisakorn checked in the big.

Both players checked the {7-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop. The turn landed the {9-Spades}, and Sirisakorn bet 80,000 with Bleznick check-calling. The river landed the {A-Spades}, and Sirsakorn bet 80,000 with Bleznick again check-calling.

Sirisakorn tabled his {K-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the nut flush, and Bleznick mucked.

Bleznick Gives to Painter, Takes from Sirisakorn

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Jared Bleznick completed with the {2-Clubs}, and Jameson Painter called with {Q-Hearts} up.

Bleznick bet on fourth street after catching an ace, and Painter called. Both players checked on fifth street, and Bleznick bet on sixth before check-calling on the river.

Jameson Painter: {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} / {Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Jared Bleznick: {X-}{X-}{X-} / {2-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

Bleznick completed the next hand with the {A-Clubs}, and Smith Sirisakorn called with the {7-Diamonds}. Bleznick had ace-deuce up on fourth street, just like in the previous hand. He led out, and Sirisakorn called.

Bleznick checked after pairing his deuce on fifth street, leaving the aggression to Sirisakorn, who bet fifth and sixth and eventually bet again on the river. Bleznick called every bet.

Smith Sirisakorn: {J-}{J-}{4-} / {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Jared Bleznick: {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{X-} / {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Sirisakorn had two pair, but Bleznick had aces up and scooped the pot.

Full House for Bleznick

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Larry Tull completed, and Jared Bleznick raised. Tull called, then called bets on fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh streets.

Tull: {X-}{X-} / {5-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} / {X-}
Bleznick: {X-}{X-} / {8-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{A-Spades} / {X-}

Bleznick tabled his {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} for tens full, and Tull mucked and dropped to 515,000 in chips. Bleznick is now back to 1.55 million in chips.

Sirisakorn Gets Scooped

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Under the gun, Jameson Painter raised, receiving three calls. Only Samoeun Mon gave up preflop.

The four-way pot was checked through on the {4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop. Larry Tull was in position, and the action was checked to him on the {2-Spades} turn. Tull bet out, and only Smith Sirisakorn stuck around. The river was the {3-Diamonds}, and Tull check-called one more time.

Tull rolled over {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a full house and a six-four low.

"We chop," Sirisakorn said, but he quickly realised he was wrong. "No, we don't chop. I get scooped. Shit," he observed. He was in the middle of turning over his no-chop hand, revealing {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{X-}{X-} before mucking the remaining two cards.
