George's Two Pair > Hellmuth's Two Pair

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

One player limped in from early position, followed by a limp from Josh Arieh. Chris George raised it up from the cutoff and Phil Hellmuth called from the big blind. The early position limper and Arieh also called.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Hellmuth bet. The early position limper called. Arieh folded but George called.

The turn was the {K-Diamonds} and Hellmuth peeked as his cards, then bet again. Only George called this time.

On the {4-Hearts} river Hellmuth bet one more time. George thought about it, then called.

"Two pair," Hellmuth said. George immediately showed {8-Hearts}{K-Clubs} for two pair, then his {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} as well.

Hellmuth frustratedly picked up his cards and held them in his hand.

"Ace king jack?" Hellmuth asked. "Really?"

"It was double suited," George said, shrugging.

Hellmuth showed his {8-Clubs}, then his {A-Spades}, then mucked his hand, awarding the pot to George.
