Big O

Daniel Negreanu limped from under the gun. Jason Stockfish called, as did Iraj Parvizi before Ryan Hughes raised to 7,400 from the big blind and got three callers.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and Parvizi potted for 31,600. Hughes moved all in, then Negreanu moved all in. Stockfish covered all other players and thought for a while before folding.

"I was just trying to steal," said Parvizi, but he put the rest of his stack into the middle.

Negreanu: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Hughes: {3-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Parvizi: {4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and the river the {q-Spades}. Hughes took the side pot with his deuce-three making a better low, and Negreanu's trip nines held off the straight and flush draws of his opponents.

Day 1 chipleader Parvizi was eliminated in 15th place, taking home $5,657.
