Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante
Alexey Rybin
Alexey Rybin

James Calderaro raised from the button, and Alexey Rybin called from the big blind.

They checked to the turn of a {Q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{K-Spades} board, where Rybin check-called a bet of 400,000 from Calderaro. The river was the {2-Diamonds}, and Rybin check-called another 800,000 from Calerdero.

Calderaro showed {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}, while Rybin tabled {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of kings to win the pot.

A few hands later, Rybin raised to 400,000 from the button, and Calderaro called from the small blind.

They checked to the river of a {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} board, where Calderaro check-called a bet of 500,000 from Rybin.

Rybin tabled {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{2-Hearts} for threes full of queens, Calderaro mucked, and Rybin won the pot.

Artem Babakhanyan
Artem Babakhanyan

Alexey Rybin raised to 350,000 on the button, and James Calderaro called in the small blind. Artem Babakhanyan called from the big blind, and the flop came {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Babakhanyan moved all in, and Rybin gave it some thought before folding.

"How much is it?" Calderaro asked. Babakhanyan's all in was for 610,000, which he called.

Artem Babakhanyan: {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
James Calderaro: {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The Russian rail was asking for spades, as that would lock up the double for their countryman. Instead, the {9-Hearts} turn and {6-Hearts} river gave Calderaro a straight, and Babakhanyan was sent to the rail in fourth place for $379,128.

All three remaining players are now guaranteed at least $543,713.

Babakhanyan Gets There to Double

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

James Calderaro raised to 300,000 first to act, and Artem Babakhanyan moved all in from the button. Both Esther Taylor and Alexey Rybin quickly folded, and Calderaro asked for a count. To his rail, Calderaro said, "I got a piece of crap, but I am going to call." Once the all in was determined to be for 970,000, Calderaro called.

Artem Babakhanyan: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
James Calderaro: {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Calderaro's rail asked for a queen, and their wish was granted with the {Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. However, Babakhanyan had the better flush draw and instantly got there with the {10-Clubs} turn, rendering the {3-Spades} river a formality.

Rybin got excited for his countryman, and that didn't go down well with the American rail and Calderaro, while the Russian rail started celebrating.

Alexey Rybin raised to 360,000 in the small blind, and James Calderaro called in the big blind.

On the {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, both players checked. The {10-Spades} appeared on the turn, and Rybin checked, Calderaro bet 500,000, and Rybin called. After the {5-Diamonds} river, Rybin checked again, and Calderaro bet 1,000,000. Rybin quickly announced a check-raise to 3,000,000, and Calderaro grabbed into his stack to aim for calling chips.
