Kornuth Gets 'Show One' Going

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Chance Kornuth started the day as the chip leader and is, as expected, dominating the conversation at his table. Kornuth is all smiles and tries to get 'Show One' going, which means everyone at his table has to show one card upon showdown. Much to Kornuth's surprise, the entire table agreed to his proposal, including Emmy Award-winner Ray Romano, and thus Miranda #605 will feature a lot of open cards today.

As he made the proposal, Kornuth also raised to 2,800 from early position. Brett Shaffer made it 7,600 from the small blind, and Kornuth quickly changed into serious mode. After pondering for a while, he made it 14,900, and Shaffer folded reluctantly.

Kornuth's smile was right back and he moved his cards to his neighbor, who revealed the {K-Diamonds}.

"Oh, that's a good one," Kornuth smiled.

"You can show both if you want to," quipped Romano, but Kornuth didn't oblige.
