Welcome to Day 1b of Event #74: The Little One for One Drop $1,111 No-Limit Hold'em

The second of three starting flights of Event #74: $1,111 The Little One for One Drop No-Limit Hold'em begins at 3 p.m. local time at the 2017 World Series of Poker. Last year, Michael Tureniec came out on top of a field of 4,360 entries, defeating Calvin Anderson heads-up to win his first bracelet and $525,520.

Tuesday's Flight A had a total of 687 entries, 113 of which bagged chips at the conclusion of play. Bracelet winner Ken "Teach" Aldridge had the most with a stack of 199,000, and several highly accomplished players advanced to Day 2, including Jason Mercier (91,000), David "ODB" Baker (59,300), and Brian Hastings (16,800).

Day 1 play consists of 10 one-hour levels with 20-minute breaks every two levels. Late registration will be available through the end of Level 6, which will be at about 9:40 p.m., and players can reenter as many times as they wish until registration closes. Players can elect to give a $111 donation to One Drop and receive an extra 5,000 chips on top of their 5,000 chip starting stack.
