Kempson Out, Billy 'the croc' Argyros In
Corey Kempson is out for the time being, though with registration remaining open for a little over another two hours, he still has time to come back in for another go should he choose.
Despite doubling up to just under 20,000 when his pre-flop shove with held against a tablemates' , Kempson hit the rail an orbit or so later, falling at the hands of Ehsan Amiri after the duo tangled in a hand.
It was Amiri the man driving the action with a pre-flop open from early position for 2,400 with Kempson (big blind) the only caller.
After a Kempson check, Amiri led for 4,000 on the flop and was called, with the dealer burning and turning the . This saw Kempson lead for a tickly 3,000 and after some time mulling it over, Amiri opted to just call.
The river completed the hand and saw Kempson move all-in for his remaining chips, with Amiri calling immediately. Kempson rolled over for a missed draw and the speed of Amiri's call became apparent when he turned over for a flopped set and turned full house. Kempson headed for the rail, while Amiri stacked up to 95,000.
Billy 'the croc' Argyros is a recent entry to the field, and looks to have been busy, running up his stack to 47,000. Argyros is joined at his table by the recently re-entered Edward Kim, who has spun his second bullet up from 25k to 39,000. Other notables still with chips are as follows:
