Camphausen Leaves Mitri on Life Support
George Mitri might have come in with the chip lead but a frozen run of cards has seen him drop down the ladder to the very bottom.
Mitri started the hand with ~440,000, but it was Germany's Marc Camphausen the man who lit the fuse on the hand that would blow Mitri's stack to dust. Camphausen made it 45,000 to go from under-the-gun and Mitri three-bet to 130,000 from two seats over.
Action folded back around to Camphausen, who tanked for a minute or so before pulling the trigger and shoving for 358,000 in total. Mitri had a big decision to make and looked on the fence between folding or calling, eventually choosing the latter.

Camphausen held the lead with a premium pocket pair while Mitri had the suited big chick. The runout came and the German celebrated with a fist pump and a whispered 'Yessssss!' to climb to 730,000 in chips.
Mitri stoically shipped over the chips to his opponent, dropping to 80,000 (five big blinds) in the process.
