No Aches for Akenhead

James Akenhead now sits on a stack of 124,000 and he knocked out a couple of players in the meantime.

A nameless "close friend" filled me in on a few details.

The first gentleman was a bit unfortunate, as Akenhead hit a three-outer on the turn after all the chips went in on the flop. Next up was Brandon Cantu, but he went out with a fight. He and Akenhead got it all in preflop and Cantu managed to flop a wheel straight to stay alive. The next time they got it in though, Cantu and Akenhead both had flush draws, with Cantu having the nut draw. Akenhead also had two pair though, which turned into a full house, and Cantu was out.

This last hand saw Akenhead and an opponent get it all in on a {7-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {10-Hearts} flop. Akenhead had {Q-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} to his foe's {A-Clubs} {4-Spades} {A-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}. The turn came {9-Spades} and river {5-Diamonds} meaning the two pair held up and Akenhead busted his third victim

Just as I was about to enter this, Akenhead walked past and told me he's on 147,000 now putting him into the chip lead!
