Akenhead Continues to Tumble

Former tournament chip leader James Akenhead continued to fall from glory in a recent hand against Theo Jorgensen that left him with 44,000 in chips.

Chris "Jesus" Ferguson opened the pot from the button with a raise and Akenhead made the call from the small blind. Action then fell to Jorgensen, who reraised, kicking it up to 14,000. Ferguson laid down his hand and Akenhead made the call.

Akenhead then checked the {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {K-Spades} flop, after which Jorgensen moved all in for his last 15,000. Akenhead re-checked his hole cards and studied the situation for a brief moment, but eventually his cards were chucked into the muck.

Jorgensen improved to 48,000 in chips with the win.
