Power Play
An interesting hand seemed to be unravelling on Neil Channing's former table, the decision resting on a pensive-as-ever Huck Seed, after the action had gone: Seed limp, Michel Abecassis limp, Marc Goodwin raise to 5,600, Eric Cajelais call. After a few moments of deliberation, Seed made what appeared to be a reluctant fold - I imagine he smelt the potent sense of value - allowing Abecassis to call.
On the flop, Cajelias showed no hesitation in leading out for 12,000, which scared his two remaining opponents into folding quicker than a jet-propelled whippet. Seed, meanwhile, seemed rather frustrated, and dipped into the muck to reveal what he'd folded (although he may have been rabbit hunting).
Cajelias, who has biceps so powerful that they could snap my neck if I even looked at them without permission, climbs to 63,000, thus making him third in chips.
