16th Place Goes to Lloyd Rees (and £11,034)

In a dramatic hand which started as a sixway limpfest and ended with the possibility for two of the biggest stacks to clash, Lloyd Rees was the one caught in the middle and eventually busted. Many players saw a {J-Spades} {7-Hearts} {4-Hearts} flop, but it was Ville Haavisto who bet first - 16k. Over to Rees, who shipped in the whole of his stack (only 34,500) and then looked back at Haavisto.

However, his left hand side neighbour was none other than Jani Vilmunen, who tanked and then counted out the call. This clearly wasn't part of the plan for Haavisto, who threw his hand away.

Rees had flopped the nut flush draw with {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {K-?} {5-?} but Vilmunen held {7-?} {7-?} {9-?} {5-?} which turned into a house with a rivered Jack.
