Waxman Getting Involved

Matt Waxman doesn't have a ton of chips, but has been staying involved on his table.

After action folded to him on the button, he moved all in for 6,050. The player in the big blind tanked for a bit and then Waxman told the player that if he folds and shows, Waxman will also show. After a minute or so more, the player folded and showed the {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}. Waxman showed the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} to stay good on his word.

On the next hand, action folded to Waxman in the cutoff seat and he raised to 800. The player in the big blind called and had 1,200 behind. After the flop came down {5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, the big blind moved all in for his last 1,200. Waxman called saying, "It's not that good of a flop for me."

Waxman held the {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and his opponent the {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

The turn was the {K-Hearts} to put Waxman in front and the river kept him there with the {J-Diamonds} completing the board. He busted the player and moved his stack to about 10,000 in chips.
